1. Definitions
1.1 “Company” refers to Boiler and Plumbing Ltd, a registered company in the United Kingdom, providing boiler and plumbing services. Our registered address:
1.2 “Customer” refers to any individual or entity engaging the Company’s services.
1.3 “Agreement” refers to these Terms and Conditions, which form the contract between the Company and the Customer.
1.4 “Services” refers to all boiler and plumbing-related work undertaken by the Company.
Boiler Plumbing Pipes Service Plan
Overview:
Our service plan for boiler plumbing pipes ensures that your central heating system remains functional and efficient. We cover the essential maintenance and repair work for the pipes that connect to and support your boiler system.
What’s Included:
• Annual inspection of boiler plumbing pipes.
• Leak detection and repair for connected pipes.
• Maintenance of pipe connections to ensure optimal water and heat flow.
• Support for issues arising from wear and tear of the pipes.
• Emergency call-outs for pipe-related faults impacting the boiler.
What is NOT Provided Under the Plan:
• Replacement of plumbing pipes beyond a certain length (e.g., major overhauls or full system replacements).
• Any pipework not directly connected to the boiler system.
• Repair of pipes damaged due to third-party interference or external factors.
Gas Supplier Service Plan
Overview:
Our gas supplier service plan supports safe and efficient gas supply management to your home or business. While our plan focuses on your property’s gas-related systems, it excludes responsibilities related to your chosen gas supplier.
What’s Included:
• Inspection and maintenance of gas lines connected to your appliances.
• Gas leak detection and repair.
• Emergency response for gas supply disruptions within the property’s internal gas network.
• Annual safety checks for compliance with UK regulations.
What is NOT Provided Under the Plan:
• Dealing with billing or account issues with your gas supplier.
• Repairs or maintenance on supply pipes outside your property boundary.
• Resolving supply interruptions caused by your gas provider.
2. General Terms (“the Services”):
2.1 By engaging the Company’s Services, the Customer agrees to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
2.2 The Company reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Updated terms will be published on the Company’s website and apply to future agreements.
2.3 All contracts are subject to the availability of materials and the Company’s workforce.
3. Services Provided
3.1 The Company offers services including, but not limited to:
- Boiler installation, repair, and maintenance.
- Central heating system servicing.
- Plumbing installations and repairs.
- Emergency plumbing and heating callouts.
3.2 The scope of Services will be detailed in a written quote or contract before work commences.
4. Quotations and Pricing
4.1 Quotations are valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise.
4.2 Prices are inclusive of VAT unless explicitly stated.
4.3 Additional charges may apply for unforeseen work or changes requested by the Customer after work has commenced. Any additional costs will be communicated and agreed upon in writing.
5. Missed Appointments
We reserve the right to charge you £120.00 for our call-out costs if a scheduled appointment has been confirmed but missed by you.
6. Transferring your plan:
Your plan cannot be transferred to any other equipment.
7. Payment Terms
5.1 A deposit may be required before commencement of Services.
5.2 Final payment is due upon completion of the agreed work unless stated otherwise in the contract.
5.3 The Company reserves the right to charge interest on overdue payments at a rate of 4% per annum above the Bank of England’s base rate.
8. Customer Responsibilities
6.1 The Customer must provide access to the premises at agreed times.
6.2 The Customer must ensure all necessary consents (e.g., landlord or building permissions) are in place before work commences.
6.3 The Customer must inform the Company of any hazards or specific requirements at the premises.
9. Warranties and Guarantees
7.1 The Company guarantees its workmanship for 12 months from the date of completion.
7.2 Manufacturer warranties apply to any parts or appliances installed. The Company will facilitate warranty claims but is not responsible for manufacturer defects.
7.3 The guarantee does not cover damage caused by misuse, neglect, or third-party interference.
10. Liability
8.1 The Company’s liability is limited to the cost of the Services provided. The Company is not liable for indirect or consequential losses.
8.2 The Company will not be held liable for delays or damages caused by circumstances beyond its control, such as adverse weather, supply chain issues, or acts of God.
11. Cancellation and Refunds
9.1 Customers may cancel Services by providing written notice at least 48 hours before the scheduled commencement.
9.2 Cancellations made within 48 hours of the start date may incur a fee covering reasonable costs already incurred by the Company.
9.3 Deposits are non-refundable unless otherwise agreed in writing.
12. Health and Safety
10.1 The Company complies with all relevant health and safety regulations.
10.2 Customers must ensure the work area is safe and free from hazards for the Company’s operatives.
13. Complaints and Disputes
11.1 Complaints must be submitted in writing to the Company within 14 days of the issue arising.
11.2 The Company will investigate and respond to complaints within 7 working days.
11.3 If disputes cannot be resolved amicably, they will be referred to mediation or arbitration under UK law.
14. Governing Law
12.1 This Agreement is governed by the laws of England and Wales.
12.2 Any legal proceedings will be conducted within the jurisdiction of English and Welsh courts.
12.3 This Service Plan does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
15. Data Protection
13.1 The Company complies with the UK’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
13.2 Customer data will be used solely for the provision of Services and will not be shared with third parties without consent.
16. Entire Agreement
14.1 These Terms and Conditions constitute the entire agreement between the Company and the Customer.
14.2 Any amendments must be agreed upon in writing by both parties.
